Inderjeet Kaur had been working at the same company for 15 years. She was great at her job and never expected to leave. But the company let her and many of her fellow workers go without a second thought.

It was a shock and many of her colleagues were upset, not knowing what to do next. The only thought that Inderjeet had was, 'I'm free to do what I want now'.
She realised that if one company could treat people as a commodity, then what's the point of starting at another?  So, Inderjeet started working for herself. 

With a commitment to overcome any obstacles, Inderjeet learned as she went. It was hard work, but her time and future were her own. What a great challenge!
